You know I'm very handy with the tools; having spent my entire life learning how to do home repair projects I'm the ideal candidate to attempt to restore and maintain a 200 year old house. It's a good thing I didn't waste my childhood learning stupid things like computers and technology. This blog attempts to chronicle the current projects on the home, why projects aren't getting done, and other things, like my wife's attempt at returning to (medical) school after a 7 year hiatus.

Pete flew to the coast and back today
Pete's flying lessons are progressing, and today he flew his first solo cross-country flight (i.e. >100 nautical miles)! He made it to the coast and had lunch in a little town there! Pictures will be posted later -- once the camera makes it inside! The goal is for him to have his private pilot's licence (PPL) by the end of October or beginning of November! :)

That is so exciting! How neat to grab some lunch on the coast. I can't remember if you mentioned it before but do you guys have plans to own your own plane someday?
